2026/2028 Erasmus Mundus Master’s Scholarship in Journalism, Media & Globalisation – Fully Funsed Europe Study. The Erasmus Mundus Master’s in Journalism, Media and Globalisation has opened applications for 2026–2028. This two-year, cross-border master’s programme unites several of Europe’s leading journalism schools with an aim to promote and develop top-quality investigative journalism. Each scholarship is fully funded for tuition, living expenses and insurance – offering aspiring media professionals from all over the world a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Overview
About Mundus Journalism Since 2005, the consortium has brought together students from around the world to study journalism and media at a truly global level. It is organised as a two-year MA programme taught at Aarhus University (Denmark) in the 1st year and host universities, which offer specific specialisations, in the 2nd year. Graduates are well-trained and networked throughout Europe, with excellent job prospects in media, communication and other sectors.
Eligibility Requirements
Requirements The Erasmus Mundus Master’s Scholarship is available to applicants who:
• Possess a three-year bachelor’s degree in media, communication, journalism or related field.
• Submit evidence of English ability (if you do not speak English as your first language).
• Have at least three months of earlier journalistic experience.
• Able to provide proof of degree completion by 1 August 2026.
• Already have a two-year master’s degree and one bachelor’s degree by the time iKulluryuk starts on 1 September 2026.
Scholarship Benefits
A full package of funding for each selected Fellow over the 2 years:
• Full tuition fee waiver
• A monthly subsidy of 1,400 euros (max. 24 months)
• Health and liability insurance of the actuary nature
• Career advice, such as one-on-one sessions and networking events
• Access to work visas in Denmark and the second-year host country
Also, all the students can apply for an Erasmus+ grant to contribute in their cost during their second year.
Application Process
The online application is available 1 November 2025, don’t forget to apply before 10 January 2026, at 23:59 hrs (CET). All applicants are required to submit in a single PDF file (max. 10 MB) with all the required documents according to the order of documents listed in the program guidelines. The call for acceptance decisions will be notified by 1 March, 2026.

Applicants will also choose their desired specialisation for second year when they apply. Once you are admitted, your choices are final.

• Professional journalism experience

• Motivation to do Honours and fit of specialisation to career aspirations
