Overview

The ICP Connect Scholarship is funded by VLIR-UOS and the Belgian Directorate-General for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid (DGD). It provides the opportunity to excellent students from 28 eligible countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America by granting them a Scholarship to obtain a master’s degree at KU Leuven. In addition to covering full tuition fees, the scholarship includes significant annual living costs, annual return airfare from their home country to the UK, and additional grants and allowances to support scholars in their studies.


Who Can Apply (Eligibility)

ICP Connect Scholarship To be eligible for the ICP Connect scholarship, candidates have to follow :

• Nationality and country of residence: Be a national and resident of one of the 28 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America on the list.
• Age: Not more than 35 years for fresh Master’s candidates; 45 years in case of advanced Master’s.
• Professional Experience: Prior experience in higher education institutions, government or civil society sector is welcome. Also recent graduates with high motivation from the private sector are welcomed.
• Previous Scholarships: Should not have been the recipient of a Belgian Government Scholarship and have stayed in Belgium for more than one year on that account prior to January 1 of the academic year of registration.
• Limit of Application: One ICP Connect Scholarship application per applicant in a year.
